1) Ordering Information

1.1) Placing Orders - To place an order to i-Tec officially, customers are required to issue a purchase order (P.O.) via fax or e-mail. Alternatively, customers can ask i-Tec to issue a Proforma Invoice (P.I.) and sign back as order confirmation.

1.2) Artwork - For OEM products, color separation artwork should be provided to avoid touch-up artwork charges. Digital artworks can be emailed to sales@i-tecelectronics.net. Preferred formats would be Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop. i-Tec recommend the customers to provide logo films and packaging printing films for OEM products to avoid film charges. For printing of OEM packaging with quantity less than 3,000 pieces per model, i-Tec will charge US$200 per artwork film.

1.3) Cancellations - Orders cannot be canceled without permission from i-Tec . Customers will be liable for all costs incurred due to order cancellation.

1.4) Acknowledgements - Receipt of order will be acknowledged by fax or email after orders are received.

1.5) Minimum Quantity Ordering (MOQ)
  • Minimium order quantity is not less than 1,000 pieces per color per model for i-Tec brand products. Otherwise, a surcharge will be added.
  • Minimium order quantity is not less than 3,000 pieces per color per model for OEM products. Otherwise, a surcharge will be added.

1.6) Pricing
- All prices are quoted on FOB Shenzhen basis. Products can also be quoted on FOB HK term but the price will be slightly higher. i-Tec reserves the rights to change the price at any time without further notification due to fluctuation of material costs or product approval costs.

- All prices quoted only include 1C silkscreen logo printing on one location and a standard i-Tec 4C packaging for i-Tec brand products. Any OEM logo and packaging will be quoted separately.


2) Production

2.1) Overruns/Under-runs - Allow 2% overruns or under-runs but i-Tec will always try its best effort to commit the agreed order quantity.

2.2) Production Lead-Time - Normal production lead-time takes 30 - 60 days after receipt of deposit or 100% irrevocable L/C at sight.

2.3) Order Confirmation - Upon receipt of all requirements listed below should the production begin:
- Deposit / LC is received
- A copy of Purchase Order or Proforma Invoice signed by customer is received.
- Pre-production sample is approved for OEM products if it is required.


3) Payments
3.1) Banking Charges - Payment made with T/T or LC, customers are responsible for all banking charges incurred from their banks and are forbidden to deduct any banking charges from the order amount.

3.2) Payment by Letter of Credit - Customer should provide a L/C DRAFT copy to i-Tec to review the terms and conditions before the actual L/C is issued. This could avoid additional bank charges resulted from unneccessary amendment occured.

3.3) Terms
  • 100% irrevocable L/C at sight to be received 10 days after order being confirmed.
  • 30% deposit in advance and 70% balance to be paid 14 days before shipment.
  • US$250 handling charges for any order amount less than US$10,000 per shipment.


4) Shipping

4.1) Shipping Port - All prices are quoted on FOB Shenzhen unless specified or agreed. All goods will shipped to destinations from China Ports in Shenzhen. Additional freight charges will be claimed to customers if they request a shipping port in elsewhere other than in Shenzhen.

4.2) Freight Policy - Customers may choose their own forwarding agent or i-Tec's forwarding agent. i-Tec strongly suggests the customers to purchase insurance for their shipments to cover loss and damages caused from theft, accident, unpredicted extreme weather condition, etc.

4.3) Shipping Mark - Customers should provide their carton ship marks at least 10 working days prior to shipment delivery date. If there is no shipping mark provided from customers, i-Tec will use our default ship marks as follows:

5) Samples Request Policy

5.1) Samples Charges - Samples will cost an extra 50% on original unit price. Silkscreen print set up charge for printing OEM logo on samples is US$200 per design. Silkscreen print set up charge will be waived if order quantity of OEM products is 10,000 pieces or more. Customers should provide their couriers' account number for sample shipment or else freight charges will be quoted by i-Tec upon request. All sample & freight charges should be T/T to i-Tec prior to samples dispatch.

5.2) Samples Leadtime - Samples will be sent out to customers in 1 weeks' time after receipt of sample payment. However, i-Tec will always try to send out the samples at the earliest possible date if the samples are in stock.

5.3) Samples Payment Method - Sample payment plus freight charges, if there is any, should be T/T to i-Tec company account without deducting any banking charges incurred from customers' bank.

6) Handling Charges - Please note that US$250 will be charged to customers for any order amount less than US$10,000 per shipment.

7) Courier Service - Customers' own courier account numbers, i.e. FedEx, UPS, TNT or DHL, must be provided for sending the samples through couriers. If customers do not have a courier account, they are requested to pay the freight charges together with the sample charges in advance.

8) Returns
In the event of a defect or false shipment, a RMA form including a return authorization number (RA number) must be obtained from i-Tec prior to the return of goods dispatch from customer.

The customer must fill in full details including PO number, sales invoice number, model number, quantity, color, lot number, date of happening, symptoms of failure/defect, packaging condition, location of happening, etc. on the RMA form. A copy of the filled RMA form should be sent to i-Tec via fax or e-mail in order to get a RA number. A hard copy of the filled RMA form (with RA number) should be attached on the return shipment for reference.

The customer is responsible for the freight charge on RMA return goods while i-Tec will be responsible for the freight charge on RMA replacement. Please note that RMA service does apply to return goods from end users.

9) Indemnification
Customers must warrant that they have the copyrights to use the logos, marks, symbols, or designs depicted in the artwork / film provided by customers. Customers should indemnify and hold i-Tec harmless in any infringement action as a result of use of logos, marks, symbols or designs provided by customers.
